THE STATIONARY POINT IN THE EVOLUTION OF A SYSTEM

Performance AldoDrawingBy Aldo Giannotti

A mobile participatory intervention in public space

A group of people will travel around the city of Vienna  on a mini-van, transporting a wooden board (of approx. 3x2 m). Using the architectural structures of the public space – walls, sidewalks, stairs, fountains etc. ) they will place the board in such a way as to create, by stepping on it all together, a series of different figures, in which a precarious equilibrium is kept and lost through the changing and reassembling of the bodies’ position.

TU-LIPS. A PERFORMATIVE INVESTIGATION

by Gerald Straub

How does instancy / immediacy work in politics and what are the consequences of these momentary actualisations – acting as a creator of immediate emotions rather than building relevant tracks for a not so close future?

NOT YET TITLED

Branding Intervention in Public Space

By Gianmaria Gava / Giorgio Palma

Texts (freely adapted from): Unnamed George W. Bush’s Aide, Emil Cioran, Il Manifesto, Mario Andrea Rigoni, Lars von Trier, Richard Wagner

The six photographical subjects of the series Not yet titled capture details of sculptural groups, located in symbolical centers of power in Vienna. DÉJÀ V€U

It was at the 2002 Switzerland's world Fair where Haral Szeemann showed his exhibition, "Money and value, the last taboo". At the center of it, under a hole carried out in the roof of the building, there has been placed a currency-destroying robot. Conducting what only banks are allowed to do by daylight deep down in the bellies of security vaults. As Szeemann stated, the project was exploring the edge of what could be called an art exhibition. This collaboration with swiss banks, exposing some of their veiled secrets, must have left a weird sensation to those spectators who could still remember the history of this particular institutions.
